HMD Global, the licensed manufacturer of Nokia branded smartphones is all set to launch its first 5G smartphone. Zhang Yucheng, Product Manager of HMD Global for Nokia Mobile Phones in the Chinese region, reportedly stated the above during a conversation with users on Weibo.
According to a report, HMD Global is set forth to step in amongst the 5G race competitors with the launch of the company’s first 5G smartphone.
The report further notified that on November 11, the company will launch the smartphone in China. The company has not revealed complete details about the upcoming flagship smartphone. However, the expectation is that the company will name the upcoming smartphone as Nokia 9.3.
HMD Global has successfully launched its latest budget smartphone the Nokia G20 smartphone in India. Nokia G20 has a single storage option of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is priced at Rs 12,999. The Nokia G20 is available in two colour options — Night and Glacier and will be available for booking from July 7 on Nokia’s official website and Amazon India website. Its sale will go live from September 1.
Nokia G20 is built with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1600x720p resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek G35 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device is equipped with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card. Backed by a 5050mAh battery, the Nokia G20 claims to deliver up to three days of battery life using AI-assisted battery features. Measuring 164.9 x 76 x 9.2mm and weighing 197 grams, the smartphone offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-SIM support and a USB Type-C port for charging.
